Edmond Petit Fabrics

London Fabric Company is proud to include in its range of fabrics those produced by the exclusive French Fabric House of Edmond Petit, established in 1850 by Sir Petit, who started a business designing and producing fabrics for soft furnishings.

On 1st July 1872, he joined forces with his son so that his business could continue to flourish through the next generation. On 1st October 1891, the business moved to 23 rue du Mail, 75002 Paris, to a building constructed specifically for the design and manufacture of fabric and it also began supplying fabric specifically designed for the stage. The business has remained there to this day.
