Deschemaker fabrics are really a flexible material mainly consisting of a network of natural and or artificial fibres most often referred to as thread or yarn. The yarn is normally produced by spinning raw wool fibres, linen, cotton, or other material on a spinning wheel to produce long strands. Deschemaker fabrics or textiles are formed by weaving, crocheting, knitting, knotting, or pressing fibres together (felt). Colour Disclaimer

Colour Accuracy Although at "London Fabric Company" we do our best to make sure that the colours printed on our web site are accurate, actual colours will vary. Fabric Backlighting

"Backlighting" happens when light filters in through translucent fabrics from behind. Our swatches don't show you the effect of backlighting, which can soften colours and highlight fabric textures.
