Bullion Fringe

Bullion Fringe / Hanger Fringe refer to a heavy fringing traditionally applied to the bottom of a sofa to protect the fabric from shoe scuffs but the more delicate fringes can be applied to curtains, throws and cushions. Fringes come in a wide variety of lengths. Depending on the decorativeness of the fringe the header can either be sewn on top of the fabric or sewn in between two fabrics. London Fabric Company has a variety of trimmings by the following Houses: British Trimmings, Houles and Ian Sanderson.
