Established in the burgeoning interiors and traditional crafts district of Wilcox Road SW8, Vauxhall in London to complement the range of Services offered to our customers under one roof: Upholstery (Traditional and Modern), Curtain Making (Handmade), and Furniture Restoration (est. 1980).

Unlike a department store, London Fabric Company offers a personal service in a relaxing environment, where over coffee or tea even, you have the time to be inspired and choose your fabrics, whether from old, established fabric houses or new, artisan designer-makers for exclusivity, together with expert advice from our experienced craftsmen.

For additional time and to accommodate our customers busy schedules, we have set time aside either before or after working hours by appointment whereby you may wish to get a feel for the fabrics you consider undisturbed. Unlike others, we approach fabric from the perspective of its use, e.g. we sent our loose covers specialist to search for the three best fabrics for loose covers in each category in terms of durability, different designs, exciting colours.

Colour Disclaimer

Colour Accuracy Although at "London Fabric Company" we do our best to make sure that the colours printed on our web site are accurate, actual colours will vary. In addition, subtle colour differences and textures may not be fully appreciated on some systems due to differences in monitors and/or display cards. Due to the fact that our products are all custom made, and can't be returned, you need to be sure that you can live with any colour variations that are possible from our photography of/scanning of the actual samples. Fabric Backlighting

"Backlighting" happens when light filters in through translucent fabrics from behind. Our swatches don't show you the effect of backlighting, which can soften colours and highlight fabric textures.
